The Highlands Art Center breathes new life into a cherished Louisville landmark. Our historic 1920 Methodist church, with its stunning architectural details and soaring sanctuary, has been lovingly restored to serve the creative community.
The attached 1962 school building has been transformed into art studios, workshop, and classroom spaces, providing artists with the perfect environment to create, teach, and collaborate.
Our gallery and event space host rotating exhibitions, receptions, and elegant private events, celebrating both member and visiting artists while preserving the sacred beauty of this historic space.
